Dan has extensive specialised experience in project development, financing and overall delivery of renewable energy projects. He has been intimately involved in the successful development and commercial delivery of a number of renewable energy projects over the past 11 years including; The Gunfleet Sands offshore wind farm development (108MW fully consented project) in England, Utgrunden offshore windfarm in Sweden, The Cefn Croes onshore wind farm (58.5MW).  Dan has also had significant exposure in both the underwriting and portfolio management of renewable energy equity investments in Portugal, France, Turkey and the UK.

Prior to joining Atlantis in April 2009, Dan had worked for The Crown Estate (Marine Estates), Enron Wind and General Electric and has a BSc. (hons) degree from Cardiff University in Marine Geography and an MSc. (hons) degree from The University of Strathclyde in Offshore Marine Engineering.  Dan is expertly placed as the Projects Director of Atlantis with his unique insights in taking marine renewable energy projects from conceptual stages through to financial close.
