Kim Manley Non-Executive Chairman, Atlantis Resources Corporation Founder and Board member since November 2005. He is the former Director, and Chief Marketing Officer of Allied Domecq Spirits and Wine. (Allied Domecq PLC), a former President of The Pierre Smirnoff Vodka Company, (a division of Diageo PLC). Kim has a diverse range of marketing, commercial and Board experience, having work with; Yamaha Corporation in Japan, and Sara Lee Corporation in North America, and serving on the Boards of; Allied Domecq Spirit and Wine (UK), Suntory Allied (Japan), Jinhro Ballantines (Korea), The Bundaberg Rum Co. (Australia).
Basil Mcilhagga Non-Executive Director, Atlantis Resources Corporation Basil is the Head of Broking of CLSA Ltd. He also sits on the CLSA Executive Committee, which is charged with the overall strategy and direction of the company. Basil has over 30 years experience in stock broking business and oil trading. Prior to joining CLSA, Basil was Head of Macquarie Securities Asia. He also has seven years experience with BP in a variety of roles including oil trading and project financing.
Ian Potter Non Executive Director, Atlantis Resources Corporation Ian has a BA from Queens University, Canada and an MBA from INSEAD, France. He has been with Morgan Stanley in Singapore since 1994 and is responsible for the Commodities Division in Asia, comprising of principal and client activity in oil, power & gas (including alternatives & biofuels), metals, logistics and agriculture. He is on the board of internal Morgan Stanley operating companies as well as the Morgan Stanley representative on the boards of invested companies in the region. Prior to moving to Singapore, Ian worked in finance in London and New York.
John Woodley Non Executive Director, Atlantis Resources Corporation John is a managing director and was most recently co-head of the power and gas-related commodity business for Europe and Asia at Morgan Stanley. He was hired to found the very successful US electricity trading operations for Morgan Stanley in New York in 1994. After ten years with Morgan Stanley in New York, John moved to London to help build the electricity and electricity related energy business outside the US. John has recently moved to Switzerland and is focusing on Morgan Stanley's commodity related energy investments.
Jim Forbes Non Executive Director, Atlantis Resources Corporation & Chairman, Atlantis Operations (UK) Ltd Jim is recognized as one of Britain’s ‘toughest and most driven’ business leaders. He was the architect of the £5bn merger of Scottish Hydro and Southern Electric in 1998, creating Scottish & Southern Energy Plc, a business he ran as CEO until 2002. He also oversaw SSE’s acquisition of Swalec in 2000. Jim was formerly the Non-Executive Chairman of Thames Water Plc and a Non-Executive Director of Firstgroup Plc. His twenty-five year career in the energy industry began with an apprenticeship with the South of Scotland Electricity Board.
